From my view of point advantages far more overweigh the so called drawbacks..But you have asked so I will try to give you some drawbacks..1..caste system..sc...st obc.. Etc etc..huge proportion of population working very hard because of this f*** CASTE SYSTEM​​2.unhygenic conditions due to poverty in slums and rural areas​3. Political conflicts...Due to which terresrist news... We people hear day to day​4. Increase population... Enough said..​5 .still some areas are very polluted.. Notsuitable for people living in less populated region of globe \U0001f30d​​​​6.dust dust dust if u r living in front of main road then u will come to know how dusty cities actually are..​7.beware of pocket picker in india specially ...​8.corruption... Which is decreasing day by day
