A carpel consists of the female parts of a flower which are essential for pollination to occur. The various parts of flower are :-

1 - Stigma --} The sticky surface on which pollen grains land and convert to pollen tube.

2 - Style --} The long tube which supports Stigma and provides a path for transportation of pollen grains.

3 - Ovary --} The sac which has ovules present inside it. The Ovary has an opening called micropyle through which pollen is transferred inside the ovules.

4 - Ovules --} The ovules are the ones which are converted to seed on germination. They contain the egg cell which fuses with male gamete provided through the pollen grain and both fuse together to form the zygote which eventually becomes the embryo.

Hope this helps you!!

Answer:

The carpel, which is also sometimes called the pistil, is the female reproductive organ of a flower. Each carpel is usually bowling pin-shaped, and features a sac at its base in the center of a flower, and this sac is the ovary that produces and contains developing seeds, or ovules
