ANSWER

There are both natural and human sources of carbon dioxide emissions. Natural sources include decomposition, ocean release and respiration.

Human sources come from activities like cement production, deforestation as well as the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil andnatural gas.

Carbon dioxide emissions therefore are the most important cause of global warming. CO2 is created by

burning fuels like oil, natural gas, diesel, petrol, organic-petrol, and ethanol. Coal is the most carbon intensive fossil fuel. For every ton of coal burned, approximately 2.5 tons of CO2 are produced.
