C + S →CS2

During reaction 12 grams of carbon combines with 32 grams of sulphur to form carbon disulphide.

Given 3 grams will combine with ‘x’ grams of  sulphur to form CS2.

x = (3*32)/12

=8 grams

3 grams of carbon combines with 8 grams of sulphur to form CS2.
