C+2(O)=x

12+2(16)=x

X=44g

I hope this helps ( ╹▽╹ )

Answer:

44 amu

Explanation:

carbon's mass number is 12 and oxygen's is 16

so 1 atom  of carbon will have mass as 12 amu  and 1 atom of oxygen will have mass 16 amu.

CO2 will have 1 atom of carbon and 2 atoms of oxygen

= 12+(2*16) [as there are 2 atoms of oxygen]

=12+32

=44 amu(atomic mass unit).
