what is the mass of the precipitate formed when 50mL of 16.9% solution of AgNO3 is mixed with 50mL of 5.8% NaCl solution​

first we will write the chemical equation

agno3+nacl= agcl + nano3

170g. 58.5g. 143.5g

16.9%of agno3 means 16.9g I'm 100ml solution in 50ml of solution=8.45 g

like same 5.8%of nacl means =2.9g in 50ml solution

all reactants and product are in 1 mol

mol of agno3=8.45/170=0.049

mol of nacl= 2.9/58.5=0.049

abhi yha pe sabke to 1mol form ho rhe hai

therefore mass of agcl=no of mol×molar mass

=0.049×143.5=7

mass precipitate=7g
