What is the maximum number of primary partitions that can be created on a hard-disk?

It depends on how much space you're taking to make partition.

ex- if you're using 1Tb HDD then and you're making partition of 40 GB you can make more than 6 partitions in any HDD.

Hard disk is the main storage device of any modern CPU of a computer.

For a better working in the computer we can easily create primary partitions in the hard disk as per our necessity.

There is no such limitations of the maximum number of primary partitions can be created in a hard disk.

It totally depends on the total storage capacity of that hard disk and the total size of a single partition.
