The preserve time period for invoice upto 8 years.

Those who are Registered Dealer (registered under income tax and gst council) must save all books of account which is used for daily transactions,  all documents related to maintain stocks, purchases of new stocks, dispatches of finished goods and deliveries of finished goods, payment done and receipts towards sale or purchase of goods for a period of not less than 8 years from the expiry of the year to which they relate.

In case where any proceedings are initiated, then the dealer shall preserve books, till a final order is passed in respect of the said proceedings
