Indian Standard Time is calculated on the basis of 82.30' E longitude, in Kannada , (16.58°N 82.15°E) which is nearly on the corresponding longitude reference line.
Now all over India time is same at any particular moment whether it is the western most or the eastern most point.
We can still know the difference by observing the time of sunrise at these two extreme points.
