Hi friend, Here is the required answer:-

Mean =. Sum of all observations/ Total no. of observations.

Mean= 121+347+45+21+300+614+ 312+333+421/ 9.

Mean = 23493/9= 2610.3.

Hope this helps you...

Given :

9 numbers with values :

121 , 347 , 45 , 21 , 300, 614 , 312 , 333 , 421

To Find :

Mean of the given numbers = ?

Solution :

∴Since we know that mean of  a given no of observations is equal to the sum of given observations divided by the number of observations i.e. :

Mean = sum of given observations / total no of given observations

So according the mean of the given nos will be :

Mean = \frac{(121+347+45+21+300+614+312+333+421)}{9} \\\\

Mean = \frac{2514}{9}

Mean = 279.33

So the mean of the given nos is 279.33
