Apartheid was a policy of racial discrimination and separation between Blacks and Whites. It was a racist policy. It discriminated blacks and treated them as inferior. Anything used by blacks could not be used by Whites. Whites and Blacks both had their own public toilets, buses, benches, taxis, etc.
