Damin-i-Koh or Damin is a Persian word which means skirts of the hills.
It is a name given to forested hilly areas of Rajmahal hills.
Rajmahal hills are located in the Santhal Pargana division of Jharkhand.
They’re majorly present in the Pakur, Sahibganj, and Godda districts of Jharkhand.
The districts have been marked by red color and the Damin-i-Koh area can be assumed by the area marked in blue.
