The face value of a digit in the given number is the value of the digit itself. It is the actual value of the digit. The face value of a digit of a number doesn’t depend upon its position in the number. Wherever it lies, it always remains the same.
For example find the face value of ‘6’ in 4658
Solution:
Face value is the value of digit itself
∴ Required face value = 6
