Plants with homoxylous wood are called Homoxylous plants.
Homoxylous wood is a non-porous wood which lacks trachea(vessels) and fibers. Vessels are the most efficient structure of xylem also known as fluid conducting tissues. It plays a major role in water and fluid transportation in plants.
Gymnosperms including ferns and mosses have homoxylous wood.
