here is ur ans..
The English word “India” has no meaning literally. That's why in the west they even name a dog as India. All the words the british gave to bharat were given only as a means to demean and destroy indian civilization. E.g. Madras , Calcutta, bombay - really have no meaning and do not relate to the local cultures. They were given to impose British imperialism and wipe out Indian sanskriti. Of course the liberal media in the west and in India too continue to do that today.
