Symmetry refers to an exact correspondence between an object i.e. an object is said to be in symmetry if after transformation (rotating, flipping) it looks just like a reflection of the original object.
On close observation it can be seen that nature loves symmetry. You can find symmetry in flowers, leaves, sticks, tree stumps etc. The symmetry may either be rotational or reflectional.
Flowers- rotational symmetry
Leaf-reflection symmetry
Poison oak- reflection symmetry
Symmetry is also observed in living organisms such as animals and most important humans rather all vertebrates and invertebrates are symmetrical in nature.
Though scientists have deduced minor differences between left and right side, yet nature loves symmetry.
