Hey,
Friend,

Here's your answer ⬇⬇⬇

●MAGNIFICATION PRODUCED BY MIRRORS.

The magnification produced by a spherical mirror is defined as the ratio of the height of the image to the height of the object.

Thus,

A negative sign in the value of magnification ( m ) indicates that the image is real.

A positive sign in the value of the magnification indicates that the image is virtual.

●MAGNIFICATION OF LENS

The magnification produced by a lens is defined as the ratio of the height of the image to the height of object. It is represented by m.

The magnification m is positive, if image is virtual and erect .

The magnification m is negative, if image is real and inverted.

Hope this will help you!!
