•Vector quantity:

Quantities which have both magnitude and direction are termed as vector quantities. There are called as vectors. E.g. velocity, displacement etc.

Scalar quantity:

Quantities which have only magnitude are called as scaler quantities or scalars. E.g. speed,weight etc.
