The minimum and maximum value of the sin∅ and cos∅ is -1 and +1.

1) By the curve of the sin∅ it is very clear that the value of the x is positive for one cycle and negative for the other cycle.

2) The range of that cycle of sin∅ is from-1 to +1.

3) Again it is very clear by the curve of the cos∅ that the value of the x is positive for one cycle and negative for the other cycle.
