The mode of nutrition in a fungi is Heterotrophic,which means they eat other organisms as food(mainly as a host) and is further subclassed into Saprotrophic as they digests their food outside its body by spitting digestive enzymes.They do not have an internal organisation to digest food. Examples are yeast,mushrooms etc.
