The molar mass of C gas is =36 gmmol-1

Explanation:

For an Ideal gas equation PV=nRT  ---- Eqn 1

where P=Pressure of the gas

V=volume of the gas

R=gas constant

T =temperature

n= number of moles where n=m/M where M is the molecular mass or molar mass

substituting the n in eqn 1

P=\frac{m}{M}\frac{RT}{V}

P= \frac{m}{V}\frac{RT}{M}-----Eqn 2

where m/V =d = density

Substituting the value of d in Eqn 2

P=dRT/M \frac{dRT}{M}

P=1.5 g L-1 ×R = 0.08 L atm K-1 mol-1]×300K/M

M=1.5 g L-1 ×R = 0.08 L atm K-1 mol-1×300K/P

where Pressure P=1 atm pressure

M = 36 gmmol^{-1}

Molar mass is defined as the mass of the sample of that compound divided by the amount of the substances. It is the sum total of the mass in grams of the total atoms present.
