Given:

mass, m=245g

Volume, V=45.325L

To Find:

Molarity of solution of Calcium Chloride

Solution

As, M=n÷V

And, n=m÷M.M.

As, Molar Mass of CaCl₂=40+2(35.45)=110.9g/mol

⇒n=245g/110.9g

∴ n≈2.21 mol

Therefore, M=2.21mol÷45.325L

M=0.0487 mol L¯¹
