H=1

N=14

O=16

HENCE

HNO3=1+14+16*3

          =15+48

           =63u

molecular mass of nitric acid = 63

Explaination :

As we know,

mass of H = 1

mass of N = 14

mass of O = 16

Therefore molecular mass = 1 + 14 + (16*3)

= 63u
