Moral of the story is that it tells us that the there is no age bar for education . this is a very motivating story which helps in telling us that even someone who is in the age of 62 can start learning . the main motive of this story is to express that we should never loose hope and try our best till we die . this story also gives us a hint that how indian traditions and cultures are followed well in the daily lives . evry teacher is on the position of a god for the student .

The moral of the story is that there is no age of studying or teaching as grandmother did because she set her mind to study and set a date by which she would too become literate and accomplish it through persevrance, sincere and hardwaorkby reading repeating and writing and resiting what she was taught by her grand daughter.

The story "How I taught my grandmother to read" is written by Sudha murty.

In "How I taught my grandmother to read", Sudha murty conveys a positive message. 'For a good, if you are determined, you can overcome any obstacle. For learning there is no age bar.'

These words of the grandmother, some of the message with diligence and homework, an old lady of 62 can learn how to read a novel on her own. The lesson also highlight the need for ' adult education' millions of adults illiterate and learn a lesson from the grandmother of the story. Again age is no bar for learning.
