Velocity is called as Speed in specified direction.
Velocity tells us how fast or slow an object is moving in specified direction.
Velocity= Displacement/ time.
----> IT is a vector quantity. That means it has both magnitude and direction.
----> SI units are m/ s
If displacement is zero then velocity can be zero.

Example:
Let us consider a Car moving with speed 40km/hr towards North.
