Bacteria are the microscopic unicellular organisms.
There are five types of bacteria; Coccus, Bacillus, Spirillum, Rickettsia and Mycoplasma.
Their examples are as follows:
• Coccus- Staph aureus, S. epidermidis S.saphrophyticus, etc.
• Bacillus- Lactobacillus sp., Bacillus anthracis, B. cereus
• Spirillum- Treponema pallidum, Treponema carateum, Treponema denticola
• Rickettsia- Rickettsia rickettsia, Rickettsia akari, Rickettsia conorii
• Mycoplasma- M. buccale, M. faucium, M. fermentans
