Red blood corpuscles are responsible for transporting oxygen in our body.
RBCs have a coloured red pigment called haemoglobin which binds with oxygen to form oxyhaemoglobin(HbO) which is then transported to other parts required..
RBCs are red in colour due to this pigment haemoglobin..
