The necessary condition for the combustion to take place is that there should be three things which should occur at the same time to perform the process of combustion.

Explanation:

Three things are required in proper combination before ignition and combustion can take place=>

  1. Heat
  2. Oxygen
  3. Fuel
  • There must be Fuel to burn.
  • There must be Air to supply oxygen.
  • There must be Heat (ignition temperature) to start and continue the combustion process.

Hello friend,

Good Question !

Here is your answer:-

What are the necessary conditions for the combustion to take place ?

There are three major and compulsory things that shouldn't be missed otherwise the fire/combustion will not take place.

They are:

  1. Heat (ignition temperature)
  2. Air (oxygen)
  3. Fuel (combustible substance)

( Note : the upper answer is for short questions and lower part is explanation)

Now let's go more in detail of the upper points:-

  1. Heat : For a fire to start,of course an appropriate temperature is required. The temperature at which the fire starts burning is calked ignition temperature. The place where the combustion is going to take place must have enough heat for a fire to start and continue.
  2. Air : As we all know that oxygen helps a fire to burn continuously as the oxygen acts a fuel in the fire and keeps it burning. After burning tha oxygen changes into CO²( carbon dioxide). Therefore it is important to be kept enough oxygen for a fire to burn.
  3. Fuel : Fuel means any combustible substance which can hold fire easily should be used to start a fire. Therefore it is necessary for a combustible substance to be kept where the fire is going to burn.

hope it helps you......
