What is the need of crossing the exotic breeds of cattle with local breeds,when exotic cattle have higher yield as compared to the hybrid breed of cattle.
Kind of detail pls thanks

May be the local breed was not good in high yielding but was good in other characters (stronger for field work) which was not present in exotic breed

To obtain those 2 characters in one animal ,they will be crossed
