Answer:as explained

Explanation:

The basic primary function of modulation in a certain particular communication system is that it has to generate a modulated signal suitable to the characteristics of the transmission channel. In the radio communications, modulation is required in the transmission systems is to transfer the given message into an available high frequency radio channel. Modulation is also used in for instance voice-band modems where digital data does modulate the carrier frequencies inside the voice frequency band.

If the message is digital, a certain process keying is used. So in digital communications the terms Amplitude Shift Keying that's ASK, Frequency Shift Keying that's FSK and Phase Shift Keying that's PSK are used.

If we don't modulate the message then there will be presence of discrepancies in the message at receiver's end and will be different from the one of Sender's end. This is majorly due to the fact that there's presence of noise in the channel which is used to send message
