Hi friend,

Myself saka here to help you..

The energy of a electron at infinite distance is arbitarly assumed to be zero.

When the electron moved to come under the influence of nucleus it does some work.

So the energy decreases further and reduces less than zero.

It becomes negative .

This state is known as negative electronic state.

Hope u helped you a liitlr

Negative energy is a concept used in physics to explain the nature of certain fields, including the gravitational field and a number of quantum field effects. In more speculative theories, negative energy is involved in wormholes which allow time travel and warp drives for faster-than-light space travel.
