Original price of the vacuum cleaner = $185

Discount = d = 25 / 80

Discount amount = 25 / 80 of $185

= ( 25 / 80 ) × $185

= 57.8125

Therefore,

Net price = original price - discount amount

= 185 - 57.8125

= $127.1875
