Pi a constant which is defined as the ratio of Circumference to its diameter.
We think that Ratio of Circumference and its diameter changes with a changing radius of circle. But the ratio is constant . This constant ratio is pie.
There have been many researches on pi . Till now, Value of pi has been found up-to trillions of digits. .
For easier calculations, we take π = 22/7 or 3.14 .
But Actually π = 3.14159 and 22/7 = 3.142857 .
As both of them are nearly equivalent, 22/7 is adopted as value of π .
π is used to calculate areas, circumference of Circle. It is a irrational number .

Solution -
The transcendental number phi , also known as the golden ratio has a value of ( √5 + 2)/2 which is approximate equal to 1.6282....
Various properties of this number -
For any quadratic equation of the form , a² - a - 1 = 0, the positive root is phi .
From the above equation , we can show that -
• phi² = phi + 1
• 1/phi = phi - 1
Phi occurs in nature unexpectedly in several ways.
