Haritha Haram, is a programme of State Got, of Telangana. It is the brain child of Telangana State Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao.
He has launched it with a view to increase afforestation in the state of Tenegana. K Chandrashekhar Raoinaugurated it on July 5 2015.
The objectives of the project are:
Planting of trees in our locality. Each one plant is equivalent to one person It is one of the simplest way to protect our nature as well as future generations.
