Antonio Pigafetta was an Italian scholar and traveller.He liked to explore during his travels and this lead to discovery of various new places and ideologies.He was a explorer from  Republic of Venice.

A incident occured that is  Magellan's death in the Philippines, after which he joined the expedition to spice islands under the flagship of King Charles 1 of Spain.

Pigafetta collected lot of data that was related to  geography, climate, flora, fauna and the native inhabitants of the places where ever he visited.

His discoveries for a very long period of time were founded helpful and a matter of research for other travellers and explorers.
