As there  are two digit under bar, multiply by 100 on both sides,


100× x = 100×0.68(bar)

100x = 68.68 (bar)


Now,subtract x from both sides,

100x = 68.68 (bar)
  -   x = -0.68 (bar)

99x =  68  [bar will cancel]

x = 68/99



Now,


0.68 bar in p/q form is  68/99
