HEY MATE , HERE IS UR ANS

  • For many decades , geologists noted that high number of earthquakes and volcanic activity occuring around the Pacific ring the edge of Pacific Ocean basin
  • About 3/4 of all active volcanoes in the world life within the Pacific ring
  • The theory of plate tectonics the explanation of this pattern
  • Plate boundaries are found all the way around the Pacific basin
  • It is along these plates boundaries that may volcanoes and earthquakes occur , giving the name ' THE PACIFIC RING OF FIRE'
