• On standard resistor, there are 4 bands.
• First two band indicates digits, 3rd band indicates no of zeroes and 4th bamd indicates tolerance.

# Values of colour codes-

• Black = 0
• Brown = 1
• Red = 2
• Orange = 3
• Yellow = 4
• Green = 5
• Blue = 6
• Violet = 7
• Grey = 8
• White = 9

# Tolerance band -

• No band = ±20 %
• Silver = ±10 %
