The perimeter of all the non- square rectangles in the given square is option b) 48 cm.

To find the perimeter

If we cut each square horizontally or vertically then we get 2 rectangles, so we get the length as 4 cm and the breadth as 2 cm.

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

                                             = 2(4+2)

                                            = 2(6)\\= 12

There are 4 such squares, 4 (12) = 48 cm

So Option (B) 48 cm is the answer.

Complete question is:

(Note: All horizontal and vertical lines are equally spaced).

A.36, B. 48, C.72, D.96
