The perimeter of a sector of a circle is 25 cm

Solution:

The perimeter of sector of circle is given as:

Perimeter\ of\ sector = \frac{ \theta }{360} \times 2 \pi r + 2r

Where,

r is the radius

\theta is the central angle in degrees

Given that,

Central angle = 90 degrees

Radius = 7 cm

Substituting we get,

Perimeter\ of\ sector = \frac{ 90 }{360} \times 2 \times 3.14 \times 7 + 2(7)\\\\Perimeter\ of\ sector = 10.99 + 14\\\\Perimeter\ of\ sector = 24.99 \approx 25

Thus, perimeter of a sector of a circle is 25 cm
