What is the period in girls? What is its minimum age?

Periods is the waste that comes out from your vagina in the form of blood. It last for 1 week maximum and happens every month. Minimum age for periods in girls is 11 years. First period is menarche. Periods are also called menstruation.

Uterus prepares itself each month to receive the zygote and for it's nourishment develops thick mucus and tissue lining but when fertilization do not take place then this linig breaks down and mucus along with blood moves out. This is called menstruation or period. This cycle take place roughly monthly. First menstruation is called menarch around the age of 12-14
