A measure of acidity or alkalinity of water soluble substances

pH is a scale from 1 to 14. it tells us how acidic or how much alkaline a substance is. if pH is between 1 to 7 then it is acidic. if it is basic pH is 8 to 14.if substance is neutral pH is 7.
