Physical setting is that how the particular place can be divided into the land classified modules.

• The modules in which the Asian continent is divided into five wide varieties they are mountain, plateau, plains, peninsula, steppes and the dessert system and the water bodies which includes the fresh water bodies and the salt water bodies.
• Peninsula is the land which is "surrounded by water" on all three sides and the land on a single side.
• Asia is the largest continent which has the "wide range of physical divisions".
