Hi there!
→ Sun's physical state :- Gaseous
Unlike all other planets it is a glowing ball of Gas held together by its own gravity and powered by nuclear fusion at its center.
¡¡ Some other information about our Sun ¡¡
• Distance from the Earth :- 1 A.U. = 1.5 x km (150 million km)
• Radius: ~ 700,000 Km (109 times Earth’s radius)
• Mass: ~ 2 x Kg (332,000 times Earth’s mass)
• Density: ~ 1400 kg/m³ (approx. ¼ of Earth’s density)
• Effective temperature: ~ 5800 K (surface temp.)
• Luminosity: 3.85 x 10 ²⁴ W
• Axial tilt: 7.25 °
• Rotation period :-
~ 25 days (at equator),
~ 31 days (at 60 0° latitude)
~ 36 days (near poles, though not known with certainty)
Hope it helps! :)
