(a) 25 º C

Water at 25°C is present in the liquid state.

The water which we use for our day-to-day activities is in a liquid state.

The water we use for drinking, cooking, washing, etc., all are in a liquid state.

b) 0ºC

At 0°C, water exists in solid-state.

We know that the freezing point of water is 0 °C.

The liquid form of water starts to become solid (ice) at this temperature

(c) At 100ºC

At 100°C, water exists in a gaseous state.

We know that the boiling point of water is 100°C.

The water starts to evaporate after attaining this high temperature.

Example: When you boil water in your home, you observe the vapours coming out of the vessel after some time. These vapours are the gaseous state of water.
