The pigment in skin responsible for colour is melanin.If melanin is less the person will be so fair or white and if it is more the person will be dark

Melanin is the pigment in skin responsible for colour. If melanin is less in skin then the colour of the skin is white, if more black and if it is in medium it is brownish.
