"The Blind Boy" by Colley Cibber is about the positive side of a blind boy's perspective.

Here the speaker is the blind boy himself who is tired of hearing the sighted persons telling him about how the sun is. He despite his blindness can feel the sun's warmth on his skin. To him, the day or night is not controlled  by the sun but him. When he plays, it is the daytime for him: when he sleeps, it is night time for him. If he stays awake, the whole day is for him daytime.

He says to those who have "the blessings of the sight," not to mourn for his suffering or misery because he never feels so. He feels that even when h is blind, he is a king and those sighs only make him sad.
