Potenial applied across the capacitors will be same as they are in parallel

mantavyaagarwal: and what about charge on each capacitor
manitkapoor2: that also will be same
manitkapoor2: because the value of capacitance is same for the case u have mentioned
Anonymous: But won't they carry different about charges? Charge is not same a
Anonymous: as capacitance
manitkapoor2: for different values of capacitance they carry different charges

Capacitors are in parallel. Effective capacitance is Cp= 3+3+3=9 pF
Cp=charge/potential difference
potential differnence= charge/ eff capacitance
=3/9=0.333 V
the capacitors are in parallel. So they have the same potential differnce. Mark as best!!!

Anonymous: Do u want to know the charge on each capacitor?
mantavyaagarwal: yes
Anonymous: just multiply eff capacitance and potential diff
mantavyaagarwal: for each capacitance?
Anonymous: 9*100 = 900pC
Anonymous: this is the total charge
manitkapoor2: 100*3=300 pC
Anonymous: individually 300pc
mantavyaagarwal: oh thanx
Anonymous: totally 900pC
