In order for CECs to be displayed in the Web Portal, must be added to Platform Cluster Manager.
To view CECs in the Web Portal, go to the Resources tab, click Infrastructure > Central Electronics Complex (CEC). From the Central Electronics Complex (CEC) view, you can select CECs and turn them on or off from the Power menu.
To view the logical partitions (LPARs) for a particular CEC, click the LPAR tab in the bottom pane. In the bottom pane, the LPAR list displays both provisioned LPARs and LPARs that were not provisioned by Platform Cluster Manager. For LPARs that were not provisioned by Platform Cluster Manager, only the LPAR Name and LPAR ID is available in the LPAR list. If there are LPAR names that are not displaying in the LPAR list, ensure that the LPAR name defined in the HMC does not contain any blank spaces or periods (.). Blank spaces or periods (.) in an LPAR name can cause the LDAP list in the LPAR tab of the CEC view to not be displayed.
CECs are also visible in the Nodes list view. In the Nodes list view, under Infrastructure > Nodes, a CEC column can be selected and displayed. If the CEC column is not visible, go to the Options menu and select CEC.
