The ear is an advanced and very sensitive organ of the human body. The ear's function is to transmit and transduce sound to the brain through the parts of the ear: the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear. The major task of the ear is to detect, transmit and transduce sound.

Hey mate here is your answer✌✌》》
The outer part of the ear, the pinna, is designed to funnel sound into the ear canal, specifically high frequency (pitch) sounds from the front/side which may otherwise bounce off the head. The ear canal enhances frequencies around the 4kHz mark, giving a natural boost all by itself.
You can test this yourself by a) cutting your ears off or b) cupping your hands around your ears to capture even more sound.
This is why animals with great high-frequency hearing tend to have larger and more intricate ears, as they evolved their shape to be better at funnelling/enhancing certain frequencies. For some animals, eg cats, it is also beneficial for them to be able to swivel their ears to capture high frequency sound from other directions - say high pitch rodent squeaks.
